The Port Property has over an acre of manicured lawn and gardens for your enjoyment. The barbeques and picnic tables are available for your enjoyment. An event tent and stage may be available upon request. An application for use is required to be filled out and approved. It is advised to contact the Port Office if you wish to use the marina park for large gatherings to be sure it doesn't conflict with scheduled events. The use of Mike Wallace Park is free. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Please obey the leash laws and clean up after your pets with the bags provided.
The Park is host to the Kingston Farmers Market, which is held on Saturdays from May 7th through October 15th from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Vendors offer fresh local fruits, vegetables, baked goods, jams, pickles, and honey. Local Artisans sell handcrafted arts and crafts. Freshly prepared coffee and foods can be enjoyed on the picnic tables or on the grass while you listen to live music.
On Saturday nights in July and August, the Port of Kingston co-sponsors "Concerts on the Cove". Musicians from around the state put on free, family oriented performances for the public from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Kingston Rotary Club sponsors a no host beer and wine garden, and a variety of food vendors each week are present for your enjoyment. Free two hour parking is available for Park visitors and a pay lot is available for those who are interested in staying for the day.
The Park also hosts several community events including, Kites Over Kingston, Paws Fest, Fourth of July, Paddle Kitsap, North Kitsap Arts and Crafts Festival, and Country Christmas, all which are open to the public. Please view our events calendar for dates, times, and further information.
